It was this little bitty Valentine's first Valentine's Day and it was a great one! Both Bryn and Elyse got big heart balloons. It's been a tradition since Elyse's first Valentines Day although she was so terrified by her first balloon that we had to hide it in the guest room. Who would have thought they'd now be her favorite thing.
Elyse baked Valentine cookies for all of her special Valentines. My grandmother gave her this precious apron. It looks like a miniature version of the one she wears when she cooks. Elyse sang the same little song that she sang when she baked Christmas cookies, "Rolling. Rolling. Rolling."
Bryn watched while munching on some Cheerios.
Singing again, "Sprinkles. Sprinkles. Sprinkles."
And of course, we must taste test them before we give them out!

After we finished baking, Elyse spent a good hour or more decorating her socks with Valentine stickers. I'm just glad they weren't on the walls and furniture!
Only one thing could have made this Valentine's Day better... having our favorite Valentine, Daddy, home with us.
