It was a gorgeous day today and we got to spend a few hours at the Arboretum. We met my friends Lori, Lauren and their little ones for a picnic and stroll. It's always great to get together and catch up with good friends and Elyse is so happy and calm being outdoors. And the beautiful scenery provided some perfect photo ops!
Lori and her boys played peek-a-boo behind me to keep Elyse's attention. She's pointing because she found them.
She just wants to show off all her teeth!
A Helping Hand
Elyse is walking everywhere now but was very uneasy walking in the grass. Luckily she had John Robert and Asher to hold her hands.

I'm a bad mommy! My little birdie got her 1st sunburn today. This picture actually makes her look more red than she is, I promise!

I'm a bad mommy too. Holden got his first sunburn yesterday, too! The sun must have been more powerful or something because Holden and I weren't outside longer than we usually are. Time to bust out the sunscreen!
