We didn't have a white Christmas this year but had two days of beautiful snowfall just after New Years. We have been reading Fancy Nancy "There's No Day Like Snow Day" for a couple of months and this was the first time Elyse has been really excited about the snow. She even let me dress her in something other than a princess dress so she would be warm enough to go outside to play. This was Bryn's first snow and as I expected, she didn't enjoy it nearly as much as her sister. The combination of being overly bundled, cold and wet is not a happy one for a baby but I got a few quick pictures of her before she went back inside to enjoy the snow from the comfort of her high chair with Cheerios.
We opened the shades and enjoyed our breakfast in our "snow globe." It was so beautiful watching the snow swirl and fall all around us.
Boots on and ready to go!
Bryn's first snow.
Going to check on her house.
Snow angels of course!!!
Elyse's first little snowman, or snow princess as she kept telling me. She refused to wear gloves to go outside but once she started making her snowman, she begged for mine. Her tiny hands were lost in them but she still got it done!
Kisses!
Day 2
First thing first, we have to check on our snow princess.
This is so much fun!!!
Catching snowflakes on her tongue.
So happy!
Can you see her peaking?
Throwing snowballs at mommy.
Day 3
Daddy and Elyse making the most of the last little bit of snow.

Where did you get that adorable little play house. It's perfect. I love the picture of E catching snowflakes with her tongue. You captured the moment perfectly.
