One of our neighbors asked where we were moving and Bryan replied "We're moving west."
"To Fort Worth?" they asked.
"No waaaaaay west. To El Paso." said Bryan.
Everything happened so quickly from deciding to put our home on the market, to the sale, to closing and moving out. It was very difficult to say goodbye to all of our close friends, Bryan's wonderful family and our 1st little home.
Our last play date with Lori and the kiddos.
Asher, Elyse & John Robert.
Bryn had a nice little snooze with Allisson.

Big kisses for the girls.

We lived in Roanoke for 6 years and I never at at Babe's... until the day before we left. Elyse was licking her lips waiting for her chicken and biscuit with honey.

Moving day. Elyse kept a very close eye on all of her things going out to the truck.
One last family picture in front of our 1st home. It was so hard to drive away.
We stopped halfway to El Paso. Lola had breakfast with us because she panicked when we left her alone in the hotel room.
Elyse was so good the entire drive. Thank goodness for DVDs on road trips!
And also for music, dancing and toe chewing!
Seeing the apartment for the 1st time.
Checking everything out.
Elyse prefers to sit in the big chairs like us now. I still got a "no cheese!" when I tried to take this picture.
Entertaining herself with a balloon (surprise, surprise) and some iPad doodling.
