Bryn's 1 month birthday started off rough. She had a sonogram one week ago to check her renal anatomy because of a family history of kidney problems. Her kidneys looked great but during the sonogram they found a lesion on her liver. She had to have an MRI which means sedation and intubation for a baby this size. I'm glad she is too small to remember any of it but it was very hard for Bryan and I to see her go through it.
She couldn't have anything to eat all morning so Bryan kept her calm while we waited for the doctors and radiologist.
In recovery
All of the doctors and nurses at Children's in Southlake were incredibly kind, patient and so sweet to our baby girl. This is one of her nurses trying to get her to wake up a little. She was not having it!
These 1 month pictures would not have happened yesterday if it wasn't for Lori. Not only did she make these precious little onesies for Bryn, she cooked a delicious dinner and baked a cake for us since we had so much going on. Thank you Lori. We love you!
I love how Elyse is eyeing the cake in the background. That's my girl!
Happy 1 month birthday sweet Bryn.
As drowsy as she was for the rest of the day, she still ended it with a sweet smile.
