Christmas in El Paso

My family has a tradition of opening presents on Christmas Eve and then having a big family dinner and get together with our extended family on Christmas Day. It was wonderful being able to spend the week with my parents, sister and niece and getting to visit with my grandmother, great aunt, uncle, aunt and cousins. We always have so much fun.

Elyse was on a cookie high and dancing to Christmas music before she opened presents.

She tried to get everyone in on the fun!

We gave Elyse some new books, a baby doll and stroller to try to get her excited about her baby sister who will be here in just a few months. So far she's taken very good care of her baby but there has been the occasional toss and drag. We'll keep working on being gentle!

My gorgeous niece, Eve, with her new cat hat. Love it!!!

Playing our family White Elephant.

Elyse had so much fun making my cousins follow her around the house and push the baby and stroller. They were great sports.

Checking out all the ornaments with Aunt Lilia.

The drive home was a long one but it was a great trip!
