Last Saturday we met my friend Lori and her family for a picnic to celebrate her birthday at the Dallas Arboretum. It was a gorgeous day and we all took advantage of the beautiful spring weather. We spread out our blankets on the grass by the lake, grazed on food and listened to music while the kids ran around playing and dancing.

Elyse is extremely attached to Lori. It took a lot of bribing for us to get her out of Lori's lap so she could take some pictures with her cake.
